What's so special about Alan Rickman?
What is there to say about Alan Rickman? Quite a lot, I guess. I think we all agree that he is a brilliant actor with a lot of sex-appeal and a wonderful voice. I had only seen him in Sense and Sensibility before he took over the role of Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movies which was when I really noticed him.
I've read his biography lately, and I must say from what I've read, he must be a wonderful guy. It would be wonderful to see him perform on stage some day but at the moment he seems to have retreated into directing. Really a pity for us. ;-) But a girl can hope, right? From what I've read in his biography, he likes to be in charge - can understand that, feel the same ;-) - so directing seems to be the right thing to do.
There's so much more I'd like to say about him but it's awfully difficult to find a point to start so I guess I'll just stop here. If you have any additions or would like to share your opinion, please let me know.
