Alan Rickman at Berlinale - 9 February 2006
After hearing that Alan would come to Berlin' International Film festival, I was quite hyper. Ok, I wasn't the only one but hey. *g*
So after some - futile - attempts to get a ticket for his new movie Snow Cake, we settled for just going there and standing in the cold (and snow, for that matter) for about two hours before he finally arrived.
Of course, things never turn out as one imagines it, and so it was... well, let's put it this way: The bad weather kept most of the stars from coming over to the fans, the sides of the red carpet were occupied by the press. So bad luck for us but nonetheless we managed to take some pics. Some of the more decent ones are here, the other ones have to be enhanced and all, so I'll add another Alan gallery as soon as I get the pics back.
Needless to say that Alan looked gorgeous as always - from what I could see from my place but well. *g* His partner was with him too but we didn't get to see much of her since she went inside rather quickly. Alan gave some interviews and signed some autographs for those fans lucky enough to stand really close to the press area.
The one thing that I've learnt from yesterday... Photographers and press people can be worse than any fans. Honestly, they were really rather rude at times, booing at people who wouldn't stop for a pic... and yelling at those who stood in their way. Not sure if that's the right way but well.
So, without further ado... here we go:

This is a pic of the video screen, so sorry for the quality.
