Hi, my name is Rikki, and I'm 27. I've just finished my studies of business administration with special focus on tourism. Finding work was a bit of a problem but now it has worked out, and now I live in Munich.
So, I'm quite glad that I have my little website here (which actually isn't that little anymore) . It's a nice reason to watch a lot of movies with my favourite actresses and actors and, at the same time, show my adoration for their skills and talent.
Each of them means a great deal to me, though I don't know any of them in person. I had the great pleasure of meeting Kate Mulgrew together with my dear friends Anja, Claudia, Dani and Martina. It was a great experience for all of us.
Seeing Judi Dench on stage was an overwhelming experience. Meeting her at the stage door after the performance was just as great. I really admire her generosity and patience (apart from her incredible talent) when it comes to dealing with fans after - what I assume - an exhausting evening.
Sometimes I'm not really sure what got me hooked to any of them in the first place. It might have been just a glance or a small gesture in a movie which made me aware of the great talent they all have. Somehow... it's like feeling some connection which might or might not be there but each of the ladies and the gentleman have helped brighten up an unpleasant day or make a good day even better with their work.
No matter who's your favourite actress or actor, I'm sure that you'll agree when I say that these people do a wonderful job and give us - the audience - so much with their work. And I think it's time to give something back, to show just how much we appreciate their work.
But there are some other people I'd like to mention here, my friends:
Anja, Claudia, Dani and Martina mean a lot to me. They are true soulmates, and I wouldn't want to miss them. Together we've been through quite some adventures, and all of it has only brought us closer together.
Another friend, near and dear to my heart, is Lies, my great pal from Belgium. Though we haven't known each other that long, she is now an important part of my life, and I wouldn't want to miss her for anything in the world.
